Viren & Company Incorporated
Viren and Company Incorporated is a South African legal practice, specializing in corporate and commercial law and litigation.
It is our conviction that to thrive as a society and economy, individuals must take personal responsibility for change and private enterprises must be allowed to be profitable without excessive regulation or related costs. It is also our observation that it has become increasingly complex and expensive for firms to operate in the local and global marketplace due to high compliance thresholds.
In the South African context, we have noted that increased regulation coupled with inefficient realization of justice has eroded the return of stakeholders and brought about the demise of many promising ventures.
Therefore, our aim is to assist our clients to navigate complex regulation, implement compliant projects, and enforce their legal rights in a manner that is practical, efficient and cost-effective.
Our firm’s foundational value system is drawn from the Holy Bible and in all matters, our aim is ultimately to bring glory to God (1 Cor 10:31).
Viren Singh
Founder
Viren Singh holds an LLB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies, from the Grace Institute of Biblical Studies, Duluth, Minnesota. He specializes in corporate and commercial law, as well as litigation and dispute resolution.
Viren served articles of clerkship at a large national law firm, after which he was retained as a professional attorney. He then took up a role as a head legal advisor and company secretary of a supply chain enterprise with a national footprint. Having worked as a big law attorney, in-house advisor and sitting with a board of directors, Viren has come to understand the importance of marrying legal principle with business realities.
Viren is a husband and fitness enthusiast, with a strong interest in local and global socio-economic trends and policy commentary.
